Thank-you page — Thank-you page

In WooCommerce this is the Order received page (order-received). It shows the order number, the items and the payment method. The page gets high traffic: every shopper sees it, and at that moment they are happy with the purchase.

The page is usually used for upsell, a review request, a newsletter sign-up or partner gifts. ThanklyClub adds a block of 1–3 gifts here and the same block to the order confirmation email.

For example, a store with 1,500 orders a month gets 1,500 views of the thank-you page. If 8% of shoppers pick a gift, that is 120 visits to partners.

How to calculate it / how it works

How it works: after payment WooCommerce redirects the shopper to the order-received page, and each order gives exactly one view of it. So the number of views equals the number of orders.

Say a store has 1,500 orders a month. Step 1: 8% of shoppers click a gift, which is 120 visits. Step 2: 10% of them become partner customers, which is 12 people. Step 3: a €12 payout per customer makes €144. Step 4: the store's 60% share is €86.40.

Where it shows up in ThanklyClub and common mistakes

The server response is saved in the order, so the order confirmation email shows the same gifts. If the server is unavailable, the thank-you page opens as usual, just without the block.

• Putting too many offers on the page. The shopper gets lost, which is why the block holds no more than three gifts.
• Hiding the block under a long text so nobody reaches it.
• Forgetting the email: it shows the same gifts and gives a second chance to notice the offer.
• Replacing the order information with ads: the order number and the items should stay in view.
