A music service as a gift with the order
People listen to music and podcasts on the road, at the gym and at home. A free trial of a music service fits most stores and does not get in the way of sales.

What it means for the customer
The customer gets several free months of a music or podcast service without ads. They only start paying if they decide to renew.
When it's hidden. It sells no physical goods and does not compete with your store. Hide it only if you sell music subscriptions yourself.

A gift with your order

What the customer sees
The gift block shows a card for a music or podcast service: the name, an offer such as "3 months without ads" and a "Get it" button. In the order confirmation email it looks the same and takes one of the 1–3 slots.
After the click, the customer signs up or logs in to an existing account and activates the offer. From there the app plays music on the phone and speakers. The partner shows renewal terms before confirmation.
Why music works right after a purchase
Music goes with many purchases: running shoes, headphones, speakers, watch straps, coffee, a blanket. The customer is still picturing the scenario where they will use the item, and that scenario almost always has music or a podcast in it.
The offer is low pressure: a trial does not demand a decision today. The category works best on people who are not yet subscribed to any music service, such as younger audiences and people who just bought their first good headphones.
What partners offer and how the store earns
The partner pays for a new user and the store gets 60% of the payout. Earnings are confirmed after 14–30 days and paid via SEPA once you reach €50. The wider your audience, the steadier the flow of clicks, though average conversion is lower than in niche categories.
Common formats:
- several free months of an ad-free subscription
- a discount on a family or student plan
- a free period for a podcast service with exclusive episodes
- a trial of audio for sleep and meditation
- free months with an annual subscription
Questions
Why does music suit a shoe store?
People buy running shoes to train, and they listen to music while they do. The gift continues the purchase.
Does the customer have to enter a card?
It depends on the partner's terms. The activation conditions are shown on the gift card, and the partner only pays the store for a confirmed new customer.
How do I avoid annoying customers who already have a subscription?
The block shows 1–3 gifts and music is only one of them. If many of your customers already subscribe, turn the category off or move it down from the first position in your dashboard.
Is music really not competing with my store?
It competes only if you sell subscriptions or digital music yourself. For physical goods there is no conflict, so the AI does not hide the category.
Is the category worth keeping in a large store with a broad audience?
Yes, if you have no more precise gift. A broad audience gives a steady stream of clicks, though conversion is lower than in niche categories. Check the dashboard after a few weeks.
