Gift category

A dating service as a gift with the order

Premium access to a dating app interests part of an adult audience, but for many stores it is an awkward neighbor. That is why the category is enabled manually only.

Dating

What it means for the customer

The shopper gets a free week or month of premium access to a dating service. 18+ content is not part of this category and is banned in the network.

When it's hidden. It doesn't compete with goods. It doesn't suit kids' stores, family stores or any niche where the shopper might be underage.

A dating service offer can embarrass a shopper, especially if the order is a family or gift purchase. That is why the category is off by default. Turn it on if your audience is adult and you have reviewed the partner list in the dashboard.

Partner offers. The store may earn a commission. No personal data is shared with partners.

What the shopper sees

When the category is on, a card from a dating app or interest club appears in the gift block: a free week of premium, a trial month or a discount on the first event. The shopper taps it on the thank-you page or in the order confirmation email and lands on the partner's site.

Sign-up, profile creation and age confirmation happen at the partner. Your store receives no data about the shopper, and 18+ content is not part of this category.

Why the category is enabled manually only

A dating service next to a receipt can embarrass a shopper, especially for a family or gift order. Other people sometimes read the confirmation email, so the offer should be a conscious decision by the store owner.

Turn the category on in clothing, cosmetics and sports stores with an adult audience, where shoppers look after themselves and look for new people to meet. Kids' and family stores, and niches where the shopper may be underage, shouldn't enable it. Review the partner list in the dashboard before you do.

What partners offer and how your store earns

The partner pays for a new customer, meaning a confirmed sign-up or the start of a trial. The check takes 14–30 days, then 60% of the payout is credited to your store, and withdrawals go out by SEPA from €50.

Offers you'll see:

  • a trial month of an interest-based dating service
  • a discount on the first event at an offline club
  • free sign-up with a bonus for new users
  • a discount on the first subscription month after a confirmed sign-up
